Beat the heat with a “lazy river” float down the famously cold Saluda River! We’re heading to Columbia for the afternoon to chill on the water and hang out with the crew. It’s the perfect way to spend a hot summer afternoon!
The Game Plan
11:00 AM: Meet at the Church.
12:15 PM: Lunch stop in Columbia (Chick-fil-A/Harbison area).
1:30 PM: Hit the river for our 2-hour float.
4:00 PM: Grab a quick snack and head back to the church.
5:00 PM: Pickup at the Church.
Cost & Sign-Ups
Activity Fee: $20 per person (Covers tube rental, life jacket, and shuttle).
Spending Money: Please bring extra money for lunch and a snack on the way home.
Sign-Up Required: We need a final headcount by 7/2.
What to Bring & Wear Shoes with a Backstrap: REQUIRED. No flip-flops allowed on the river. Chacos, Tevas, Crocs (in sport mode), or old sneakers are best to protect your feet from rocks and river mud.
Sunscreen: Please bring some to reapply!
Towel & Dry Clothes: Leave these in the van for after the float.
Waterproof Pouch: If you bring a phone, it needs to be in a waterproof case that floats or tethers to your tube.

Safety Note:
Safety is our top priority. All participants are required to wear the provided Life Jackets (PFDs) while on the water.
