Reese LeRoy
Reese and his wife Mary-Margaret started attending Vineyard Church of Augusta just a few months after they were married in 1990. They began serving as volunteers in youth and worship ministries, and then moved into leadership roles in youth, worship, and small groups.
In 1995, Reese left a career in broadcast news to serve as the church’s first associate pastor. In 2003, he was named lead pastor when VCA’s founding pastor (Thor Colberg) moved to North Carolina to plant another Vineyard Church.
Reese loves helping people discover their giftings, passions, and callings and then working with them to find their unique place in God’s kingdom.
Reese and Mary-Margaret have three adult daughters – Lily, Emma Catherine, and Charlotte. He enjoys playing piano, riding his mountain bike, working out with Mary-Margaret, and cooking for family and friends.
Sam Sahyouni
Sam and his wife Kathryn moved to Augusta in 2021 in order for Sam to join Vineyard Church of Augusta’s staff as Youth Pastor. They also started a small group for young professionals and enjoy serving on the worship team.
From 2014 to 2021 Sam worked as an educator in the public school systems in the Chicago area and in Key Largo, FL. Having served in youth ministries as a volunteer for years, his desire to serve students in ministry grew and led him to take on the role of Youth Pastor at Vineyard Church of Augusta.
Sam and Kathryn have been married for 9 years and have enjoyed many adventures with their 9 year old GoldenDoodle, Honey Bear. They love being outdoors in nature, singing, gardening, cooking, and building deep relationships with our friends and family.
