READ | Luke 6:37-38

Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

REFLECT

Reflect on a recent event that transpired where you found yourself shifting blame onto someone else. Pause and think about what happened that made your emotions run high. What emotions were you experiencing? What caused the emotion and what was it trying to tell you about yourself and the situation? Is there a pattern to this type of occurrence in your life?

Based upon your guiding principles, how would you like to “be” in future situations? What would you like to do differently in the future? Where else do you see this pattern in your life? Where else are you showing up in a way that is destructive to yourself or others?

ASK

Spend some time wondering about this and asking God to show you the root of it and give you a vision for a different way.
