But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.

CONSIDER

We should pray because Jesus prayed. Talking to his Heavenly Father was a vital part of Jesus’ everyday life. Jesus prioritized times and made space in his life to get alone so that he could have conversations with his Heavenly Father – talking and listening, and ultimately just being with Him.

ASK

What adjustments need to be made in my life so that I have more time and space for meaningful conversations with God? Ask the Holy Spirit to give you ideas and to help you determine what needs to be eliminated from your schedule to make space for this.  Ask Him for the strength and determination to make this a priority. Know this is God’s good will and desire for you.
