Interested in knowing more about the important steps of Baptism?\n\nJoin us for a class with a pastor where we discuss all this and more. Come listen\, discuss\, and ask questions in a casual setting with a small group of people wondering the very same things. It’s not a commitment\, just an informational class. Afterward\, your pastor will follow up with you personally to find out if you’d like to be a part of our next baptism celebration. \nSpecial note! There are TWO Baptism classes happening July 14th! \n1. One is for Elementary age kids and their parents with Pastor Mary-Margaret\, 9:00 AM – 9:30 AM in Room 10 of the VKids Building. What may help you is not a new method\, but a new motive. In this session we will explore how to allow scripture to shape us as we: \n– move from informational reading to formational reading \n– give up “control” of the text and allow God to speak to us \n– move from problem-solving to an openness to mystery \n  \nThe Parent Coaching Session \nwith Mary-Margaret LeRoy \nParenting can be a lonely job\, but it doesn’t have to be. The Parent Coaching session is for parents of elementary age kids looking for support and encouragement. \n  \nCan I Pray for You Right Now? \nwith Don Pearson \nLearn how to use the Vineyard’s Five-Step Prayer Model to pray for people in all kinds of places and situations.  Discover how we can partner with the Holy Spirit in using this simple tool to do Jesus’ ministry everywhere! \n  \nHard Conversations: Reflecting Jesus While Facing the Issues \nwith Reese LeRoy \nIn this session\, we will explore ways to reflect Jesus in the midst of our world’s chronic divisiveness.
