Volunteers arrive at 9 AM to pack boxes with the nonperishables needed for a Thanksgiving meal. As the registered clients arrive\, we add a frozen turkey to the box. This is a great way to serve with your entire family. DESCRIPTION:Come join us on Thanksgiving morning (Thursday\, November 28th) as we prepare\, pack\, and deliver over 600 hot Thanksgiving meals to individuals living in our local public housing communities. There are four different shifts: 6 AM is cooking; 7:30 AM is assembly; 8:30 AM is delivery. We will provide addresses\, contact names\, and instructions to each delivery team. Both assembly and delivery are family friendly events.
