A full holiday season can leave us off-center, and the new year often sparks hope for fresh beginnings! So join us for some soul searching with an Ignatian Yearly Examen and prayers designed to help you steward your soul in the new year.

Jesus said, “And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul?” (NLT) This month we spend the hour in prayerful self-reflection on the year that is behind us and look forward with intention to the year ahead. Spiritual director Sue Garrett will lead us in a Yearly Examen and other opportunities to steward our souls and converse with God. What is Contemplative Prayer? For us it’s a one-hour quiet prayer time, a communal meditation space, a peaceful setting with gentle suggestions and prayer prompts from a purposeful leader. At Vineyard Augusta we make time and a space in the calendar of our church community to pause, ponder, listen, and pray. Join us for contemplative prayer, in a communal setting.
