READ | Luke 10:21-22

At that time Jesus, full of joy through the Holy Spirit, said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this is what you were pleased to do.

“All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows who the Son is except the Father, and no one knows who the Father is except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.”

REFLECT

Think about Jesus’ relationship with His Heavenly Father. What are some of the words you would use to describe it? Can you imagine having this same kind of relationship with God the Father? Through his life, death, and resurrection, Jesus has made it possible, and the Holy Spirit enables us to experience this same level of intimacy and closeness in our own lives.

ASK

Express your desire for greater intimacy with God – that you would know and experience Him in deeper, and more personal ways. And ask the Holy Spirit to give you a greater desire and confidence to come before God just as you are – knowing that you will be welcomed with mercy, love, and acceptance.
