READ | Acts 2:42-47

They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

IMAGINE

Think about all the vital and life-giving components of the Early Church listed in this passage. Picture yourself in the midst of all the different activities and practices mentioned here. Which ones do you most enjoy and are easily drawn to? Are there any parts that you resist or discount in terms of importance and significance? If so, why?

ASK

Ask the Holy Spirit to show you an area or areas of healthy and vital church life that He is drawing you to deeply engage with this season. Ask Him to give you fresh and creative insight on how you can participate and serve in these areas. Ask Him to cause all these components to work together here at Vineyard Church of Augusta so that we would see “many wonders and signs” and “the Lord (adding) to (our) number daily those who (are) being saved.”
